Aventurine Gold Angels

These angels have swirling bands of colour and aventurine gold throughout their solid glass body. Each is fully hand sculpted, and as a result are unique pieces that catch and play with light beautifully.

Each piece responds to light differently, indeed each responds to different types of light differently, casting delicate colour onto the surfaces upon which they stand, or glowing softly from within, illuminating each individual band of colour and taking on the wisp-like flows visible in the photograph here. These pieces are the newest of my angel designs, and one I hold particularly dear.
