Without rocks, there would be no glass: the silica used in glass production is the eroded remains of the rocks from the Earth's crust. We then take this silica, and with a little heat and work, turn it into the glass you see on this site and in your day to day life.
I find rocks fascinating, and so I've tried to bring the process full circle: taking the silica formed from rocks of eons past, fusing it in the furnace and forming it into a new "rock" to enjoy as a decorative piece. Each piece has a sanded bottom through which you can peer up through the transparent glass within to see the inside of the "rock".
